How to Build an Innovative Team: Lessons from Nike
Thanks man, this was really insightful. I'm sculpting miniature model aliens that I designed, and my friend is copying them. I've been overthinking this, and your video has put things into perspective for me. Thanks
Houston we have clearance for takeoff, Thanks for sharing Doc
I’m gonna try this and add a weight vest.
Brett, thank you so much. I'm a small channel & I did put out some good sewing tutorials, hoping it would help others. I've had sharks come & steal the patterns. They resew the pattern (so there's no digital proof that it's mine), & do everything I did but just change about 1-2% of it to say it is theirs (but it is too much copying - that's infringement under copyright law. Then they remake the video & get more views. It's just happened again, & I feel sick. But the faceless channel cannot teach like me. The larger channel did a bad job in reproducing the garment. What you're saying is logical. If we build ourselves as someone who can deliver it like no one else, our followers will be able to tell when we are bigger than what we are now. That faceless channel out of Turkey cannot teach like I can. She can only copy. They grab other's ideas because they don't know how to be original, so they will not be able to present it like us. All they can do is produce a ripped off video. They can't deliver like the original artist. If I offer a course, I can do that because I know how to teach. They only know how to copy.
Hi, For online fitness coach is CSCS good certification ?
I agree with ABEL
People keep copying my video only one person copied when I was using the send it audio, then record a video of melon playground the title name was mewing dash and remember the ID to search it go to use this sound use where that square is find the green face until I upload the video. One person stole one of my videos also the ID was 1:37 years ago
One more question for you that RUclipsr removed copyrighted Claims so that he can be better 1:38 months
someone copying my videos and getting more views. This helped, thanks!
yo, tanks for the tutorial but i acn see your elbows do not shake like mine (loos more like a earthquake than skaking), any advises?
Same with me bro. Just trust the process and keep at it
Try doing farmers walk in water in a 2 to 7 foot pool with 100 lbs kettlebells talking about cardio
Thanks for the suggestion. We love pool workouts.
Why have I never thought of doing this?! 😂
Give it a go! Just check out the details in the description. We did this as a couple so one of us was always there to hit start and stop, kept the weight light and did it as part of a larger circuit! Let us know how it goes and thanks for commenting
I had no idea what i was going to get myself into when attempting to pursue a career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. This RUclips channel should be studied at universities. Amazing and truthful. It hurts, but it's definitely needed. Thank you, Brett 🙏🏻
Genius! (until one loses his balance…)
This is actually genius
Thanks! We had a lot of fun making the most out of a simple hotel gym. My wife would start and stop the treadmill then we’d switch. Short amount of time and one part of a circuit
There isn't a hotel in America that would object or care if a guest took the dumbbells and did the farmer's walk in the hallway adjacent to the hotel gym and pool. A guest could even carry the bells up and down the fire stairway.
Trying to figure out what a mid-thigh pull is was driving me insane so Thank You.
❤❤❤❤brilliant Coach 🎉
Coach. Truly appreciate the sound advice. I love your philosophy of 'Coach anyone'. Thank you
I‘m interested in a CSCS and a CPSS, i would like to work with athletes but also interested in fields like sport performance science. Can you add certifications later?
Absolutely. It all just depends on where you’re trying to work (high-school, college, pro, private etc.) each will have their own requirements or standards. CSCS is imperfect (what isn’t) but is most widely recognized in the US. I cover more of this on my podcast as well. artofcoaching.com/podcast/
how to stop??
Please read caption. This was a workout with my wife. She’s holding the phone. She also hits stop. Very simple.
Mike Boyle and Dan John suggest between ages 11-12 is a good time to start training leaning the basic human movement pattern of push, pull, squat, hinge. Play multiple sports throughout the year not focusing on one sport.
Thanks for sharing. Kids should be introduced to basic movements even earlier than that in my opinion. They don’t have to train with weights at earlier ages, but they should have movement literacy.
Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure! Feel free to reach out with any additional questions
For an extra challenge, set the pitch to 15 degrees.
Challenge Accepted!
I would start with NSCA 💪to start my career as assistant football coach or strength & condition coach.
Thanks for sharing this!
I have someone stealing my videos & from others in my niche. I have a video with over 6M views and it’s not the only one they have stolen. But, I didn’t copyright them because I really didn’t think anyone would be so rude. Can I report them!
Worth looking into if you can prove it. Never hurts to ask!
Appreciate the advice sir, definitely have interest in becoming a strength coach, or PT. But this information really helped.

Hi coach , I’m a soccer coach trying to go to the next level in terms of science of the sport. Can you recommend me a school where I can get certified as Strength and conditioning trainer. Thx!
Hey! Thanks for reaching out. This will depend on the space you’re looking to get into specifically (college S&C, high-school, etc). Do you have a degree? Looking to pursue one? Or just get a cert? Check out these resources as they can be a huge help brettbartholomew.net/careerquestions/
"The reason why women live longer than men"
What is so dangerous in this excercise
@@Wastekan You either have to jump backwards which can be hard with weights and last option is to call someone around or else you have to keep on doing you farmers walk or accept your fate and fall down
Confused on this. Be sure to seek full context. Me an and a training partner who are both certified strength coaches took turns walking at a low speed with light weights for a short amount of time as a finisher. Everyone has different definitions of risk.🤷🏻♂️
Or you ask your training partner to stop the treadmill. You set the weights down, and then you do the same for them. Which is what was done here. Nowhere do we advocate everyone should do this.
Any exercise or protocol is dangerous if you don’t take precaution- as stated in previous comments this was done with a training partner (the person holding the camera) for a short amount of time, at a light weight and simply for the purposes of adding variety to the finisher of a hotel workout. Nobody should randomly perform an exercise of any kind without taking proper precautions
Thanks for the encouragement
You are so welcome! Thanks for listening in! Plenty more resources at artofcoaching.com

Ahhh... The DIRECT approach. I like it! 😎👍🏻
Appreciate you! Thanks for stopping in.
Good points all very logical. What are your thoughts when it comes to a sport like jiu jitsu. One where it’s more cerebral and less about athleticism but also a fighting art. More focused mat time typically = improvement. And what I’ve seen happen is the kids that go less tend to lose very easily to the kids that go more. The difference here is losing in a grappling art bs say soccer….you don’t just get scored on. You get pinned and choked out. So I typically see those kids quitting after a short while. Would really love your thoughts on this
All depends on the quality of the teacher, the skills they emphasize and how well they adapt/implement the techniques with the kids. Any great coach must be an adapter. Martial arts teach critical skills and qualities to kids- so I’m all for that aspect of it. We just need better coaches and teachers out there as almost nothing related to this stuff is one size fits all.
My family friend copying my recipes what I talk my satup everything. I am in depression today But you are right I am okay now. Thank you. My original recipe got 300 views and hers which she copied got 36000 views. And it happened with other recipes also.
Keep your head up and play the long game. You got this!
how long of a walk??? 5, 10 minutes???
Just depends on your goal, fitness level etc. No one size fits all here. For the purposes of what I did in this video- I walked for 30s and used it as part of a circuit. Safety is paramount and no need to do this for a long period of time. Better off using a weight vest if that’s your goal 💪
I like to do these on a good incline and shoulder shrugs long distance.. makes it better when building muscle and still getting a good cardio session
Thanks for sharing!!
Agreed. After many encounters with clients who always think they are at the right, i just learned to accept, acknowledge their views and move on. Unless it is a dire situation that will mess up their conditions, i choose to let it be.
love it coach
Thanks James!! Mind sending to others who could find it helpful? Appreciate you!! Happy New Year
Can i ask my supervisor to change my shift
That depends! Never hurts to try. Just be sure to approach it in a solution oriented fashion without coming off like you’re complaining!

Thanks for the comment! Happy New Year
@@BrettBartholomewCoach 🤠👍Thanks mate. You too
Imagine the grip slips off the dumbell and smashes the treadmill by the dumbell falling off
That's why you work your way up if can't grip 30s you need to focus on pull ups or some
Which is why you shouldn’t do this with heavy weights or if you don’t know what you’re doing. This was done in a controlled environment with a training partner nearby for a short period of time
Exactly! Though this is in KG’s. Regardless- people should not try it if they can’t use proper technique or don’t have a training partner
Currently enjoying your book. Looking for ways to improve as a personal trainer, father, & husband. Stellar information. Thank you 🙏🏼
I appreciate that more than you know! Thanks for supporting our work! Much more here artofcoaching.com/podcast/
My son has played football,basketball,soccer…..he’s in middle school now and doesn’t play any of the the first 3 and his sport of choice is wrestling 😂😂😂 first year wrestling and he loves it

Whatdo you do when speaking to get your point across
Make sure you have a clear goal in mind. What’s the “so what” of your message? The #1 thing you want them to remember? Getting clarity is critical. Then make sure your points build around that. Also- ensure you understand the communication style of the other person so you can phrase things in a way that resonates. This is what people mean when they say “know your audience!” Remember- communication is a two way street
If i do this, I will be stuck in the threadmill 😮 cuz i cant turn it off or i cant hold the sidebars with my hands
I’d recommend only doing this if you have a training partner. Like the caption said- we only did this as a way to change things up on vacation
@@BrettBartholomewCoach hmm yeah maybe I can jump off the threadmill 😆
or just squat down and put the weights down while youre walking@@TheSpiderGod2099

HEAR ME OUT. I sit in my room for freaking ages making cringe ( on purpose ) text to speech Roblox videos. Someone asked for a tutorial and now ONE OF MY FRIENDS IS USING THE EXACT SAME IDEA IM USING BUT CHANGING THE STORYLINE A BIT. LIKE WHAT DO I DO
The something is happening to me, I post a shorts and a channel post the exact video 3 hours later and he does it everyday, the person can’t wait for me to post just to steal my idea
